A.D. CALVO | filmmaker | A.D. Calvo (b. Buenos Aires) is a filmmaker whose narrative features explore the lives of lost, lonely characters in search of connection. His first feature-length documentary, Let the Moon Be My Moon, marks a new direction in his diverse body of work. In 2015, Calvo premiered the dark comedy The Missing Girl at TIFF. He returned to his genre roots with Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl in 2016, a gothic throwback praised for its subdued atmosphere and Bergmanesque tone, which premiered at Fantastic Fest and SITGES before being acquired by Shudder. Calvo has been a recurring guest contributor on Hammer to Nail and Filmmaker Magazine.


MIKE S. RYAN | executive producer | Mike S. Ryan is an Independent Spirit Awards “Producer of the Year” nominee and one of Varietyʼs 2007 “10 Producers to Watch.” He has line produced, executive produced, and produced many films that have garnered accolades from the Academy Awards, Gotham Awards, and many more including Todd Solondz’s Palindromes and Life During Wartime, Bela Tarr’s Turin Horse, Phil Morrison’s Junebug, Kelly Reichardt’s Old Joy and Meek’s Cutoff. “Junebug,” starring Amy Adams, made its international premiere at Sundance in 2005 and went on to be one of the lowest-budgeted feature films ever nominated for an Oscar (Best Supporting Actress, 2005). Mike is a New York City native and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch Graduate School of Film and Television.


LINDA A. CALVO | producer | Married to A.D. for over 30 years, Linda has been an integral part of his creative process. In addition to being immersed both creatively and logistically in A.D.’s film projects, she’s maintained a career in healthcare IT product management. Linda has a B.A. in English Lit from Boston College.


JOE CARRANO | original music | Joe has worked with top artists including Beyoncé and Madonna. In ‘94, he co-wrote and produced Donna Summer’s “Melody of Love” which went on to become a Billboard #1. Joe’s film credits include: Juror #5, Hang the DJ, Party Monster, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Carrano and Calvo have been friends since high school and his music has been a vital part of A.D.’s filmography.
