Featuring an eclectic mix of original score by Joe Carrano, from A.D.’s past films, Let the Moon Be My Moon also includes the following songs, in order of appearance:

THE LUCKY ONES | Darcy Fray | This wistful, reflective song was also featured in A.D.’s 2008 debut film. From seductive synth-laced rhythms to somber guitar-soaked vistas, Darcy delivers an intoxicating mix of atmospheric UK-style space-pop.

ONDE ESTA VOCÊ | A.D. Calvo & Joe Carrano | A haunty and jaunty spin on Bossa Nova, laced with retro Copacabana vibes echoing Calvo’s unsettled childhood. His soft imperfect voice and melancholy Portuguese lyric is lifted by Carrano’s surprise turn toward a more contemporary operatic beat.

LUNAR MAN | A.D. Calvo & Joe Carrano | Carrano morphs Calvo’s voice and guitar into a melancholy dreamscape riddled with ghostly theremin. Manicburg’s Ray Lustig completes the mix with an accordion riff that recalls a lost Argentine past.

MOONSHOT MANCHILD | Tim Bowness & Stephen J. Bennett | The penultimate song captures the struggle of an aging, lost artist. British musician, Tim Bowness, is primarily known as vocalist/co-writer of the band No-Man, a long-running collaboration with Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson. In addition to releasing seven studio albums and a documentary DVD with No-Man, Tim has worked with popular Italian artist Alice (on her Italian Top 20 album Viaggio In Italia), Mercury Prize nominated Banco De Gaia, Robert Fripp, Peter Hammill, Phil Manzanera and many others. Tim recorded the album Flame (1994) with Richard Barbieri, co-produced/co-wrote the acclaimed Talking With Strangers (2009) for Judy Dyble (ex-Fairport Convention), and has had a long-term collaborative partnership with Peter Chilvers. Tim’s recent quartet of solo releases on InsideOutMusic / Sony have entered the official UK Top 5 Rock, Progressive, and Vinyl charts, as well as the official Scottish charts. Along with Steven Wilson, he is also the co-host of The Album Years, which has reached the Top 5 Music Podcast charts in over 25 countries.
